I'm not out walking the property, seeing the sprinkler irrigation, the water flowing, or a broken head, or having a tenant complain about getting wet as they're walking into the building or something like that. My name is Craig Cardall, and I'm a real estate manager for CBRE. I've had Smart Rain installed in a couple of assets for over five years. It's been awesome to take a proactive rather than reactive approach to my irrigation maintenance. It's helped save water, reducing our water consumption significantly while keeping the lawns green and the flowers watered, overall improving operations by being proactive.

My ownership is out of the Bay Area in California, where they've been dealing with water restrictions. As they looked at pursuing opportunities in Utah and California, saving water has been top of mind. We've been able to report back the savings and show that proactive management solution they expect from us as managers. We've found a great partner in Smart Rain that's helped us be proactive. It's also been a good PR component for the building, allowing us to say that we're working to control that finite resource we have here in the Intermountain West.
